We seek an experienced OT Support Engineer to join our Australia Pacific team. This role will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining site OT networks that support our energy operations in dynamic and remote environments.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Design new OT networks for sites across AusPac in line with company standards and cybersecurity protocols.
2. Assist with the deployment and commissioning of new OT infrastructure, including travel to site as needed.
3. Maintain and administer OT networks – manage patches, firmware, SCADA updates, and daily configurations.
4. Perform and verify network backups, and support disaster recovery operations.
5. Troubleshoot OT hardware, software, and operating system issues, and assist with hardware replacements.
6. Monitor and optimize network performance, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.
7. Maintain accurate network documentation – including diagrams and site-specific configuration records.
8. Audit site networks for compliance, identity management, and operational integrity.
9. Provide insights to management on operational risks and network-related threats impacting performance.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Proven experience with SCADA technologies and OT network infrastructure.
3. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, routing, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.
4. Familiarity with OT cybersecurity practices and backup/disaster recovery procedures.
5. Exposure to industrial protocols like Modbus TCP, IEC 61850, or OPC is advantageous.
6. Solid documentation and system design skills using common tools and platforms.
7. Experience in engineering, ICT, or utilities sectors preferred.
