A little about the role
The Senior Case Worker will take a lead responsibility for the delivery of the East Kimberley Support Network(EKSN) in the relevant region, ensuring high quality, safe, therapeutic and culturally
responsive services that are integrated into the community.
* You will have day to day line management of staff, including recruitment, induction, coaching and supervision responsibilities.
* Together with your team you will build the capacity of families through the delivery of focussed, flexible supports utilising the KAA Practice Framework.
* Your experience in developing, leading and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders such as the Dept of Communities and other local community supports would be highly advantageous.
* You will provide 1:1 group supervision and coaching with your team.
* You will ensure policy and procedures are adhered to including the storage on client management system in a timely manner.
The base salary for this position is $100, $105,340.56/annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + mobile phone + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. Vehicle allowance and fuel card will be provided + regional allowance will be discussed at interview. This position is a permanent full time position.
About you
* Qualifications /Training in youth/social work/community services or equivalent is essential
* Minimum 5 year's experience of working directly with children/young and families
* The ability to demonstrate experience working with children/young people and families in a trauma informed way is essential
* It is desirable that you have experience in leadership or supervisory roles
* A sound working knowledge and understanding of IT systems is essential
