About the role:
We're looking for a commercially minded planner early in their career who's ready to own categories, not just support them.
This role would suit a Junior Planner looking for their first Merchandise Planner role or someone with 2-3 years' experience in the role. You'll be responsible for planning, trading, and stock performance across defined categories, working closely with Buying and Trading teams.
Please note we do not offer hybrid working arrangements and the role will be required onsite in Geelong full time.
Key Responsibilities:
• End-to-end planning and in-season trading for assigned categories
• Building and managing forecasts and stock flow
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and acting early
• Delivering clear insights to Buyers and stakeholders
• Post-season analysis to improve future performance
About You:
• 2–3 years' experience in Junior planning/ Merchandise planning, allocation, or a similar role
• Proven experience managing full categories or sub-categories
• Strong Excel skills and commercial judgement
• Confidence working independently and owning outcomes
• Comfortable pushing back when the numbers don't stack up
• Experience in a multi-store retail environment an advantage
• A practical, no-nonsense approach to trading stock
