Our client is a highly respected accounting and advisory firm with a strong presence across Queensland, providing audit, tax, business advisory and financial planning services to a broad spectrum of clients, including SMEs, family businesses, agribusinesses and larger corporate groups. Known for delivering quality and innovative solutions, the firm has built long-term client relationships by focusing on compliance, efficiency, and tailored advisory support.
Their Brisbane inner north branch, conveniently located close to public transport and the Gateway arterial, is led by an experienced Director and supported by a dedicated team of ten professionals. To continue the growth of this office, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Tax and Business Services Accountant to step into a pivotal role. This position offers genuine flexibility, with the scope to be shaped around your strengths — whether that means focusing on developing and managing your own client portfolio, supporting the Director with business development, or a combination of both.
In this role, you will manage compliance requirements including tax returns, BAS, and financial statements, while also advising on tax planning and structuring matters for a varied client base of SMEs, family groups and some larger, more complex entities. You will work directly with clients, build strong relationships, and mentor junior team members eager to grow their skills. With a balance of autonomy and collaboration, this is not your ordinary accounting role — it offers variety, scope, and the chance to work in a supportive branch environment backed by the resources of a larger firm.
