Be part of the Clinical Oversight and Rehabilitation team, driven by their vision to be leaders in evidence-based, best-practice service design in clinical and rehabilitative practices.
- Lead the establishment of a new multi-disciplinary clinical services team.
- Manage a team delivering rehabilitation services to young people to support the rehabilitation of young people in custody and to achieve successful integration back into the community.
- Work flexibly across both Youth Justice Custodial Precincts (Parkville and Cherry Creek) and community offices, where needed to respond to operational requirements.

The opportunity
- VPS Grade 6.1 role, earning $134,593 - $157,355 per year plus super
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for rehabilitation services including delivery of criminogenic and psychosocial programs.
- Work in close partnership with the Clinical Managers in Rehabilitation Services at the Cherry Creek and Parkville Youth Justice Precincts to ensure that young people across the State are being referred, assessed and delivered interventions in a timely and effective manner as they move through the system.

The Clinical Manager, Rehabilitation Services, reports directly to the Senior Manager, Statewide Rehabilitation Services, and will lead a team including Senior Clinicians and Clinicians to deliver evidence-based criminogenic and psychosocial programs and provide practice guidance and support to operational staff including care teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have leadership and stakeholder management qualities with a focus on innovative service delivery and the acumen to build capability across your team.
It is also a requirement of this role that you have general registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, or be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Work, credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, or have registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
A full driver's licence is required due to the need to be able to work flexibly across both custodial precincts and community offices, based on operational requirements.
A current employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card is required and will need to be provided prior to commencement of employment by the applicant. Currency will need to be maintained by the employee for the period of employment.
