About the Role
The Domestic Violence Crisis Line is a telephone based service for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the DVCL team to provide comprehensive assessments and safety management for callers.
You will report to the Program Manager, Statewide Services, and work closely with the team to deliver high-quality services to clients.
The successful candidate will be required to work a roster that includes days, afternoons, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree-level qualification in Social Work or a related discipline
* Significant experience in crisis telephone counselling
* Strong understanding of risk assessment and safety management
* Understanding of best practice approaches applicable to working with women and children experiencing domestic and family violence
* Ability to make sound assessments of client needs and communicate these clearly
* Ability to motivate and facilitate a high level of team performance
