Building Construction Project Managers - BNE

We are regularly tendering for Civil Projects across Queensland and seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals to join us in submissions. Successful candidates should be capable of committing to initial assignments lasting approximately 6 to 12 months, with potential for ongoing extensions and other projects.
Mandatory Requirements
Commercial Building Construction experience is essential for managing & leading projects during the construction phase from a contractor's perspective. The role requires competence in the following areas:
* Budgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, resource control, and priority review
* Managing Labour, Equipment, Materials, and Subcontractors within budget and schedule constraints
* Contract management activities including client liaison
* Procurement of building materials and project services following guidelines
* Implementing Project Management systems compliant with regulations and processes
* Reporting and providing information to management within specified timeframes
* Training and guiding project staff on specifications and construction processes
* Contributing to estimating processes for bids or offers
* Strong knowledge of Australian Building Code Technical Specifications
* Proficiency with project management software such as MYOB Advanced Construction, Autodesk Construction, Premier, Expert Project, Contractor Foreman, InEight, Fieldwire, Buildxact, Procore, or similar
* Excellent written, verbal, and computer literacy skills
* Experience with Project Management Systems, including Safety and Environment
Qualifications / Accreditations
A Building Trade Qualification and a valid driver's license are mandatory. Post-Trade Project Management courses and a QBCC Licence are advantageous.
Proposed hours are approximately 38 per week, with potential for longer hours and weekend work. The role is primarily based around South East QLD or Northern NSW, with possible work in regional or remote locations.
You must have the right to work in Australia and prior experience working on Australian projects, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills.
