Medical Officer in Emergency Care
We are seeking a passionate and experienced medical officer to join our team in emergency medicine. If you are interested in sub-regional or rural medicine with better work-life balance, this may be the role for you.
Role Overview:
* This exciting opportunity will see you working in a 143-bed facility, delivering high-quality care to a population of 40,000 within a 100km radius.
* You will be part of a team led by a clinical lead and staffed by senior medical officers who are experts in emergency medicine.
The department is supported by hospital services including acute medicine, geriatric rehabilitation, anaesthetics, maternity and gynaecology, general surgery, and residential aged-care facilities.
Skill and Qualification Requirements:
* Evidence of registration with AHPRA.
* Relevant experience and recency of practice within emergency medicine in Australia or an equivalent setting.
* Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for a senior medical practitioner, including modelling high standards of professional behaviour in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
A current National Police Check and compliance with Occupational Health and Immunisation requirements are mandatory.
