About the role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join the Australian Automotive Group's City Ford Ryde Service Centre. This full‐time role is based in Melrose Park NSW 2114 and will see you providing expert vehicle servicing and repairs to keep our customers on the road.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of passenger and commercial vehicles
* Using diagnostic equipment and modern tools to assess and fix mechanical issues
* Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs as per manufacturer specifications
* Completing job cards, quoting labour and parts, and liaising with customers
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
* Actively participating in continuous training to stay up-to-date with industry changes
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician, ideally 2+ years
* Relevant trade qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology
* Expert knowledge of automotive diagnostic procedures and repair techniques
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and provide clear explanations
* Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
