This new position requires someone looking for a bigger sales role than a pure maintenance role of an existing territory. You'll be wearing several different sales hats; mixing business development activities, such as courting new retail and manufacturing customers, while key account managing existing customers.

**_This role is beyond the basics of sales; you are focusing on customer pain points and potential business opportunities and partnering with your customers to create a win-win scenario. This means you are commercially astute and like to find common ground with customers which ultimately leads to sound business relationships and increased sales._**

**Your responsibilities**
- Identify and target new clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers in each business
- Structured and organised plans to achieve KPI's
- Product presentations and training customers
- Work cross-functionally internally and complete joint calls
- Effective use of CRM and and ability to teach others how to use it
- Structured and organised plans to achieve KPI's
- Basic ability to estimate and use quoting software
- Hands-on with trouble shooting and training new customers

**You have...**
- Sales experience across some or all of these types of customers - kitchen and joinery businesses, fabricators, home builders, retail hardware, specialty retail such as Harvey Norman
- Highly organised, good time management skills and an ability to prioritise effectively
- You are not afraid to be hands-on with trouble shooting and problem solving along with training new customers
- Strong PC skills
- Follow up - a systematic and organised approach
- Presentation and training skills
- Good analytical and reporting ability
- A strong mix of business development and key account management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
