Our Genea Hollywood team are a group of close knit, experienced professionals and we are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join the team!
Responsibilities
- Front Reception meet and greet of patients and stakeholders
- Booking in patient appointments and preparing their files for Doctors
- Providing support and coordinating patient files including uploading patient information into the online system
- Typing the Doctors dictated letters
- Answering external calls and enquiries from patients, health funds, Medicare, internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- We are looking for a strong administrator for this role, someone who has an interest in working in the medical field. You will be a team player who enjoys working across all levels of the organisation, as well as patients and external vendors.
- Ideally you will have;
- Previous experience in an office environment in an administrative capacity
- Experience with Medical programs an advantage (however not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and able to conduct yourself in an ethical manner, ensuring confidentiality
- Microsoft office skills
- Completed Secondary level education
