Our network is growing across Caboolture, Morayfield, Strathpine, Deception Bay, and Margate – now there's an opportunity for you to be part of a great team making a real difference in people's lives.**About the role**The Practice Support Officer is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administration and service coordination to contribute to the achievement of MATSICHS Clinics business objectives, including increased practice patient numbers, attendance rates and billings.Your day to day duties may include:* Assume responsibility for ensuring efficient and productive use of calendars.* Coordinate room bookings on behalf of Practice Manager.* Implement practices to achieve high booking and attendance rates for multi-disciplinary service provider appointments.* Monitor referral and recall system for Multi-disciplinary service providers to ensure patient's continuity of care is maintained.* Work closely with local Practice Manager, key local support staff and Outreach providers to assist in trouble-shooting issues which may arise in the course of service delivery.* Ensure Medicare item numbers are processed within the MMEX and that Medicare claims are compiled and lodged weekly via Medical Records System.* Meet and greet clients and visitors to the clinic and the provision of a high standard of customer service.**About you*****To perform this role it is essential that the incumbent is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
