Apprentice Sports Turf Management (Greenkeeper) Location: The Cut Golf Course, Dawesville, WA Commitment: Full-time Apprenticeship (4 years)
The Cut Golf Course, one of Western Australia's premier coastal golfing destinations, is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as an Apprentice in Sports Turf Management.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain a nationally recognised qualification while working at a championship course known for its stunning ocean views and world-class conditions.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the maintenance and preparation of golf course turf to professional standards
* Operate and maintain a range of turf management machinery and tools
* Learn turf renovation, irrigation systems, pest/disease control, and environmental practices
* Work within a team environment under qualified and experienced greenkeepers
* Study and complete the necessary requirements for a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
Qualifications
* Genuine interest in turf management and a career in the golf course or sports turf industry
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* A current driver's license (or ability to obtain one)
* Must be available for weekend and early morning shifts on a rotating roster
* Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
