The Manager, Procurement Operations is primarily responsible for ensuring efficient procurement activities, focusing on system optimization, supplier management, and adherence to procurement policies. You will lead and coordinate teams, managing daily operations to ensure productivity and alignment with departmental goals.
Responsibilities
* Execute procurement activities, including supplier management and maintaining procurement systems
* Monitor and report on procurement financial controls and track performance metrics
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
* Support the integration of new procurement tools and systems into operations
* Work closely with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure service delivery
* Prepare regular procurement reports and provide insights into spend and savings
* Contribute to procurement process improvements and automation efforts
* Set clear objectives and strategy for a team to achieve goals by planning, directing work, and coaching and developing associates
Education
* Bachelor Degree in relevant background
Work Experience
* 5-7+ Years relevant experience in procurement, sourcing for production in Manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of Excel, and MS is essential, SAP preferred
* Possess good interpersonal skills, with team player spirit, very hands on (including placing orders)
* Ability to work independently, organized, and good time management with tight timescales
* Analytical, and ability to mitigate risk
* Good communication and negotiation skills and learning agility
