Our Port Melbourne Service Team is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Port Melbourne multi-brand workshop, servicing brands such as Subaru, Peugeot, and Deepal.

In this pivotal role, you will take full accountability for service department performance, customer experience, and team leadership. You will drive operational and commercial outcomes while delivering a seamless, premium customer journey across service reception, workshop operations, parts coordination, and vehicle handover in a dynamic, multi-brand environment.

This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced aftersales setting, enjoys coaching and developing high‐performing technicians and advisors, and takes pride in running a well‐presented, compliant, efficient, and commercially successful service operation.

What you'll do:

* Lead, motivate, and support your Service Team to deliver high‐quality workmanship, strong productivity, and outstanding results.
* Build trusted customer relationships and ensure a seamless, efficient, and positive service experience.
* Oversee daily service operations, including workshop utilisation, rostering, bookings, customer communication, and process compliance.
* Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and expenses, implementing strategies to improve productivity, revenue, and cost control.
* Maintain high standards of presentation, brand knowledge, and compliance with company policies and WHS requirements.

About you

* Proven experience as a Service Manager within the automotive industry, leading high‐performing teams in a fast‐paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of service operations, workshop processes, OEM standards, and customer‐facing best practices.
* Confident, resilient leader with excellent communication, organisational, and problem‐solving skills.
* Commercially and operationally focused, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage KPIs, multitask, and drive continuous improvement.
* Proficient in MS Office and digital systems (ERA Net desirable); current driver's licence essential, with technical qualifications advantageous.
