Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, and Coburg.About the role:The Occupational Therapy service at Northern Health prides itself on being inclusive, supportive, and committed to evidence-based practice. The NH OT service employs over 100 staff and are consistently striving to provide opportunities to support staff growth and development.Our Occupational Therapists work across many areas of practice including:AcuteSub-acute (rehabilitation, GEM, and transitional care services)Home-based servicesCommunity RehabilitationCommonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and NDISHand TherapyPediatrics (Neonatal ward and outpatients)To be successful in this role you will have:Experience or good working knowledge of inpatient and/or community settings of Occupational Therapy practiceProven ability to thrive in a team environment and enjoy working in a large departmentDemonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice with a positive attitude to lifelong learningDemonstrated ability to show initiative and flexibilityHigh standard of professional behaviourAn appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity in the communityBy applying to the Talent Pool, you will be kept abreast of multiple opportunities suitable to your key interest and skill areas within Occupational Therapy practice, and have the opportunity to find a role that meets your needs.
