The Services Talent
Finding a Services Manager with experience on complex, $ 50M-plus projects across South Australia is challenging at the best of times. You know you're as rare as hen's teeth and that getting to the point where you're at that managerial level is even more unique.
Managing engineering installations and commissioning, and ensuring all technical components are delivered in compliance with the project requirements at this level, requires absolute focus and dedication.
Working with the senior management and operations team throughout the preconstruction, construction, and commissioning phases for all services and engineering components as an engineer is challenging enough, but managing them is another matter altogether.

The Service Manager Duties
* Leading and managing the onsite and offsite engineering activities through to the final certificate of completion on your project.
* Ensure all documentation, such as O&M manuals, is delivered to the client post-project completion.
* Coordinate investigative works and support the project team in planning engineering works.
* Manage commissioning activities, including the preparation of commissioning plans and monitoring project deliverables.
The Service Manager Responsibilities
* Ensure all engineering documentation (shop drawings, test reports, technical data) is completed accurately and on time.
* Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.
* Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
* Contribute to the preparation of progress and management reports.
The Skills and Experience:
* HVAC, Mechnical and electrical engineering background preferred.
* A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field would be a bonus.
* Previous three years of experience as a Services Engineer in the construction industry, in the Tier 2 space, at a minimum, if possible.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Hammertech.
