About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to take on a leadership position within our team. You'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the solar farm, ensuring that all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
* Operations & Maintenance:
o Coordinate daily site activities and liaise with maintenance and OEM service providers.
o Oversee non-electrical maintenance including vegetation management and inspections.
o Monitor asset performance and escalate issues as needed.
* Compliance & Safety:
o Ensure site activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
o Support emergency response drills, incident reporting, and permit-to-work systems.
o Act as a point of contact for inspections and audits.
* Performance & Reporting:
o Track operational KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
o Analyse data to support performance optimisation and reporting.
o Maintain site documentation including maintenance records and contractor logs.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build positive relationships with local communities and support sustainability initiatives.
o Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
o Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and trial new technologies.
About You
* A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, technical, or project coordination disciplines.
* A strong understanding of electrical systems (HV/LV), solar PV technologies, and asset management.
* Experience in site coordination, contractor management, and compliance monitoring.
* Familiarity with SCADA systems, energy monitoring platforms, and lean practices.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to leadership.
