Key Warehouse and Distribution Roles
You will play a critical role in delivering effective warehouse and distribution services. This includes providing accurate parts advice, administrative support, and ensuring all operations are compliant with standards.
Responsibilities
* Operate lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
* Unpack and check stock to ensure quality control.
* Receipt and dispatch items promptly.
* Inspect and maintain equipment to prevent downtime.
* Supervise and train staff to improve productivity.
* Monitor the effectiveness of parts processes, including stock control and inventory management.
* Manage staff work allocation to optimize workflow.
* Manage core return process with sites for major components.
* Arrange parts ordering, receipting, inspection, and allocation.
* Raise sales orders and quotes.
* Calculate charges and invoice jobs.
* Enter component change-out information into the system.
* Maintain existing freight relationships.
About You
* Certificate II in Warehousing & Storage or 2-5 years of industry experience.
* Certificate III in Logistics.
* Relevant parts experience.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sales skills.
* High Risk Forklift Licence (LF DG RI).
* A good understanding of computers and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* A strong customer focus.
* Current Drivers Licence.
* Experience in monitoring stock control and inventory processes.
* Knowledge and understanding of heavy machinery and components.
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Good communication skills.
