We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Vocational Admissions Team, where your work will have a direct impact on the journey of our students and engagement with key stakeholders.
As a Vocational Admissions Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting prospective and current students by delivering accurate, timely, and student-focused guidance throughout the admissions process.
In this role, you’ll draw on your understanding of university policies and relevant legislation to offer informed admissions advice. You’ll be responsible for managing the initial stages of student applications, requesting supporting documents, conducting system checks, and initiating pre-enrolment testing. Your keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills will ensure smooth and efficient operations, especially in resolving minor issues and maintaining accurate records.
You’ll also serve as a key point of contact for applicants, helping to ensure a positive admissions experience. As a representative of CQUniversity, your strong commitment to customer service and drive for continuous improvement will contribute to the ongoing success of the Students Directorate.

Position Requirements
* Knowledge and proficiency in the use of information systems, web browsers, email software, Microsoft software or similar, customer relationship systems and Quality Standards in order to achieve successful outcomes.
* Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of CQUniversity’s courses and policies/procedures and current legislative guidelines.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills and administrative experience with a demonstrated commitment to continual improvement, innovation and learning to achieve your goals.
* Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the needs of a culturally diverse university community.
* Proven time management and problem solving skills with demonstrated initiative and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team-based work environment in order to achieve set targets.
* Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients from all levels and backgrounds and deliver a responsive customer service.
