FourQuarters Recruitment is searching for a Financial Accountant to lead financial reporting and analysis across the group, with exposure to both corporate and operational accounting within an ASX-listed environment.
Base pay range:
A$110,000 – A$120,000 per annum.
Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will deliver accurate and timely reporting across a number of entities within the group and partner closely with operational teams to provide insight into financial performance and ensure compliance with statutory and ASX obligations.
Responsibilities
Managing month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and group intercompany accounts
Preparing consolidated management reports and statutory financial statements
Delivering cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, and performance insights for key stakeholders
Overseeing tax and compliance lodgements including BAS, payroll tax, and superannuation
Liaising with external advisors on income tax and R&D reporting
Reviewing and analysing project costs, contractor claims, and tenement expenditure
Supporting ERP upgrades and process improvement initiatives within finance and reporting
Enhancing internal controls, documentation, and accounting procedures
Providing on-site finance support periodically to operational teams
About You
CA/CPA qualified
Solid understanding of IFRS/AASB standards and consolidations
Strong Excel and ERP systems capability
Analytical strength and high attention to detail
Proactive mindset focused on process improvement and efficiency
Confidence communicating across teams and engaging with operational stakeholders
Flexibility to travel occasionally to site locations
