About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team. You will provide frontline care to our patients, be responsible for all aspects of coordinating patient treatment cycles and supporting them through every step of their fertility journey. You will be joining a team of multidisciplinary specialists who collaborate to improve the experience and outcomes for patients with care and compassion.
Current Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
Responsibilities will include
* Provide education about our services to patients.
* Provision of outstanding patient care
* Responding to queries regarding the treatment process.
* Supporting patients through their appointments and treatment schedules.
* Liaising with our doctors and other departments.
* Maintaining accurate medical records.
* Assisting with and performing fertility related procedures
* Communicating patient results clearly & accurately
* Data entry, maintaining patient records and ensuring appropriate paperwork is in place.
* Providing support to the Specialists
* Perform phlebotomy duties as required (training provided if not already competent).
* Perform follicle tracking (Ultrasound) upon successful completion of training.

The ideal candidate will see their role as vital to the success of the organisation. Experience in a Fertility or Women's health setting will be highly regarded.
* Current AHPRA registration
* Recent experience in IVF/Fertility nursing (desirable) otherwise minimum 2 years' experience in a nursing team environment
* Candidates without fertility or IVF background must have a minimum of 2-3 years' nursing experience in a team environment
* Phlebotomy and/ or ultrasound scanning competency (desirable)
* A caring compassionate nature
* A willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
* A good sense of humour
* Ability to adapt under changing circumstances
* Computer literate
