Multi-Skilled Construction Worker We are seeking a motivated and experienced Multi-Skilled Construction Worker to support the construction and maintenance of Council's municipal assets. This role requires a strong understanding of civil construction methods and involves a combination of plant operation, labouring duties, and technical tasks across road and drainage infrastructure projects.

About the role:You will support the construction and maintenance of Council's roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure. This hands-on role involves operating plant and equipment, undertaking labouring duties, and carrying out tasks such as earthworks, concreting, and pipe laying. You will work safely in line with established procedures, assist with traffic management, maintain equipment, and complete documentation while ensuring quality standards are met.

The role requires the ability to read and interpret plans, conduct inspections and risk assessments, and work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to Workplace Health and Safety are essential, along with the ability to contribute positively to team outcomes and interact effectively with the public. What you'll bring:To be successful in this role, you will:Certificate III in Civil Construction (or related field) or equivalent experience

Extensive experience in construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure and roadworks

Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's LicenceWhite Card (Construction Induction)Demonstrated experience operating heavy plant (up to 24T GVM) in a civil construction or maintenance environment

Proven experience in concrete works and advanced formwork, pipe laying to line and grade and reading and interpreting technical plans and drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative

Sound literacy, communication, and interpersonal skills
