Your clinical expertise will be pivotal in supporting people regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and workforce.
This role is based in Launceston, Tasmania. Your daily tasks include:
1. Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
2. Identifying potential return-to-work pathways using lateral thinking and forward planning skills, aligned with likely recovery milestones.
3. Utilizing problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to facilitate the return-to-work of claimants.
4. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, families, insurance companies, employers, and healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
5. Presenting case information to stakeholders and providing credible recommendations to drive desired outcomes.
Requirements for Success
You'll thrive in a supportive team environment, taking pride in your work and leading clients to solutions that meet their current needs while driving a better future.
1. Tertiary level qualification and full registration as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker.
2. Previous experience in structured assessments or a passion for supporting injured individuals to identify strengths, transferable skills, and potential career directions.
3. Experience in complex case management and supporting clients to achieve return-to-life or return-to-work outcomes despite challenging circumstances.
4. Driver's license and own vehicle are essential.
