Our client is a leading Australian-owned food manufacturer delivering high-quality wheat, flours, bakery mixes, gluten, starches, stockfeeds, and industrial ingredients across Australia and overseas.
About the Role
This role is permanent full-time and you'll operate A-Double & B-Double pneumatic tankers transporting bulk commodities between Altona, VIC Narrandera, NSW.
* Load capacity: up to 50 tonnes
* Departure: Typically 4:00pm (flexible 3:30pm-6:00pm)
* Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation required
You'll work closely with our Leading Hand/Leading Truck Driver during initial runs under a buddy system, joining a dedicated team.
What You'll Do
* Safely operate A-Double/B-Double pneumatic tankers
* Load/unload bulk commodities at customer sites and depots
* Conduct thorough pre-start and post-trip inspections
* Comply with NHVR, CoR, and fatigue management requirements
* Maintain communication with Transport Supervisors and Scheduling teams
* Keep vehicles clean, fuelled, and mechanically sound
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
What We're Looking For
* Valid MC Truck Licence
* BFM-accredited with interstate linehaul experience
* Pneumatic tanker experience (bulk commodities preferred)
* NHVR & CoR knowledge
* Willingness to complete pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and Federal Police Check
* Cement tanker or other bulk powder experience
