We're looking to bring on a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn new skills and is looking for a challenge. Your daily requirements will see you on the road visiting homes and businesses, to service and repair furniture. Our clientele ranges from corporate retail giants to private residential customers. **The Role**
- Conduct thorough inspections on-site to determine the cause of any damage or defect
- Perform a variety of furniture repairs and general maintenance, to a high quality of workmanship
- Generate detailed and technical reports for all inspections, repairs and maintenance works performed
- Provide a positive experience and deliver a high level of customer service, to all clients
- Travel to multiple locations throughout the day to perform all works on-site, with company vehicle provided
**The Responsibilities**
- Execute and take on all tasks with a positive mindset, and a can-do attitude
- Be punctual and exhibit strong time management and organisational skills
- Ensure work vehicle and tools/equipment are handled and maintained with a high level of care
- Work confidently and autonomously without supervision or within a team environment
**The Requirements**
- The ability to do some heavy lifting (of furniture), on a daily basis
- The capacity to travel regionally for work, on an occasional basis
- Neat and tidy presentation
**Bonus Points**
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Prior experience within the furniture industry
- Upholstery/sewing machinist experience
- Face-to-face customer service experience
- Comfortable working with hand tools and machinery, and/or are mechanically inclined
Please note, experience as stated above will be highly regarded, but not essential. More importantly, we're looking for someone who is self-motivated, highly driven and willing to learn.
