Job Title: HR Advisor


Job Description:

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is a prestigious resort located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia. This picturesque town is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital, and schools.

The property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, a tour desk, a Resort Shop, and a Day Spa.


Role:

We are seeking to appoint an HR Advisor to join our resort-based HR team. This is a generalist role with a large focus on recruitment and training, forming part of a team of 4 providing Human Resources support for a workforce of up to 300.


Responsibilities:

* End-to-end recruitment, including periods of high-volume recruitment;
* Assist the HR Manager with performance management and workplace investigations;
* Provide consistent and accurate advice to staff on award interpretation, workplace legislation, and Resort policies and procedures;
* Coordinate and present Resort Orientation on a regular basis;
* Coordinate training with RTOs and maintain training-related records;
* Assist with managing the seasonal worker program, including pastoral care for workers;
* Monitor and report relating to all Apprentices and Interns;
* Assist with other department projects as required;


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resource management, tourism, business, or a related field.

Proven experience in a HR advisor, Human Resources Consultant, or similar role, including understanding of the HIGA Award.

Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;

Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills;

A confident and discreet manner to appropriately manage sensitive information.
