**The client**
Established for over 50 years, our client is one of Australia's leading developers of retirement living and aged care villages. They have a large portfolio of assets spread across WA and continue to expand their footprint in strategic locations.
Exclusive to Gough, our client is seeking a highly experienced property professional to lead their Assets and Infrastructure division to manage and continuously improve asset management systems and processes providing leadership across the portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership to the Asset Management Team
- Ensure reliable and effective asset management and maintenance across the portfolio
- Implement strategic asset management planning including whole of life cycle, replacement programs and all routine and reactive maintenance
- All maintenance programs meet all compliance guidelines
- Manage contractors across the portfolio in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance
- Manage the team's performance
- Ensure the organisations fleet assets are appropriately managed and maintained
- Monitor and maintain a safe working environment for all staff, contractors and residents
**Skills and Experience**
- 7 to 10 years' experience in the property and maintenance sector
- Tertiary qualifications in either: asset management, construction, or building maintenance and/or relevant industry
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing as well as motivating a large team
- Experience working alongside multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project and maintenance objectives
- Strong critical analysis, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple demands and manage a multitude of complex tasks simultaneously
