A leading Federal Government organisation is seeking to engage an experienced Backend Developer to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions across large-scale enterprise systems. The successful Backend Developer will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust backend services within a modern, agile delivery environment.
The successful Backend Developer will secure an initial 12-month contract with extension options, based across multiple locations with hybrid working arrangements.
The successful Backend Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to;
* Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs
* Writing high-quality, maintainable code and supporting ongoing system improvements
* Performing analysis, development, testing and deployment activities
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
* Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions
The successful Backend Developer will have experience in the following:
* Strong experience with backend languages such as Java, Python, Ruby or Node.js
* Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures
* Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DB2
* Understanding of Agile, DevOps, SecDevOps and CI/CD practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex ICT environments
