Diesel Fitter – DIDO | $66–$71/hr + Super | 7/7 Roster | Blackwater QLD Looking for a well-paid mining maintenance role with a balanced roster?
We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters / Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team supporting operations at the Boonal Coal Stockpile near Blackwater, Queensland.
This is a permanent DIDO position offering competitive hourly rates, camp accommodation in Blackwater, and a family-friendly 7/7 roster with 12-hour shifts.

The Role:
This position is part of the mobile plant maintenance team, responsible for maintaining equipment supporting stockpile and coal handling operations at the Boonal facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel and mobile plant equipment
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance
* Complete component replacements and general mechanical repairs
* Attend breakdowns and troubleshoot equipment issues
* Conduct daily servicing and inspections
* Complete planned maintenance tasks within required timeframes
* Work closely with the maintenance team to support safe and efficient operations
