About the role
In this full-time role based in Canberra, ACT, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and audits to ensure the compliance of organisations with industry standards and regulations. Please note, you Must hold an Australian Baseline Security Clearance (or be eligible to obtain one).
What you'll be doing
1. Lead or support technical assessments and evaluations of conformity assessment bodies.
2. Contribute to the development and maintenance of accreditation schemes in areas such as:
3. Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
4. Artificial Intelligence Management Systems
5. Quality and Environmental Management Systems
6. Asset Management and Privacy Frameworks
7. Interpret and apply international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC
8. Provide expert technical advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and their implications for accreditation.
10. Thought leadership including participation in industry events and forums within the sector and throughout the broader assessment ecosystem.
What we're looking for
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g. quality assurance, compliance, auditing, IT, engineering, cybersecurity)
2. Proven experience in conducting assessments, audits, or inspections, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex information
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, constructive feedback
5. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
