Senior Payroll Officer| Parramatta | $50 P/H plus super
The Company

This 10-month temporary contract offers a dynamic and engaging workload, ensuring your days are both challenging and rewarding. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model, with 2 – 3 days work-from-home available.
The Position
As Payroll Officer, you will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for a full suite of payroll activities:
* End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 700 staff on a fortnightly cycle
* Calculate and report workers compensation liabilities, including lost time and injured worker payments
* Reconcile Long Service Leave (LSL) accruals and payments in line with Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and state legislation
* Handle special reconciliations, including shift worker Annual Leave entitlements outside of EAs
* Administer salary increases and back payments
* Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and professionally
* Maintain professional communications with internal stakeholders, including supervisors, managers, and employees
* Manage the payroll aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently
The Candidate To excel in this role, you will bring the following:
* Proven experience in end-to-end payroll in a large, complex environment
* Proficiency with major ERP systems, such as Micropay, SAP, ADP, and Time & Attendance platforms
* A proactive and can-do attitude, driven to make a tangible impact
* Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
* Resilience and eagerness to tackle challenges with initiative and determination
