Job Description
Full-time or part-time, minimum 4 days per week
Hybrid – flexible working options available
Locations: Goulburn, Queanbeyan, and Eurobodalla region

The Role
Are you looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? Each seeks an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you will:

Deliver supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals, using evidence-informed best practices.
Utilize assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options for each child and family.
Empower families, caregivers, and professionals by helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their daily lives through coaching.
Connect children and families with their community to promote inclusion and participation in activities they choose.
Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system.
Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
A proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including implementing effective strategies for home and community use.
Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach, early childhood intervention best practices, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
