About the role
We are seeking a friendly and experienced medical receptionist to join our team at the Primary Care Medical Clinic in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This is a casual position that will involve providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
2. Scheduling and managing patient appointments
3. Answering and directing incoming phone calls efficiently
4. Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical charts
5. Assisting with other general administrative duties as required
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with patients, clinicians and other staff
3. Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
4. Proficiency in using medical software and computer programs
5. A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanor
6. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
