Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pipeline E&I Technician to join our team. This is a full-time permanent role based in Dalby, with a preference for candidates residing in the area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently executing field services for our pipelines and external clients. These services include meter validations, non-fiscal equipment calibrations, cathodic protection surveys, DCVG surveys, PLC fault finding, pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and facilities, and general electrical work.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess relevant trade qualifications, experience in the gas industry, and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
* Safely and efficiently execute field services for pipelines and external clients
* Perform meter validations, non-fiscal equipment calibrations, cathodic protection surveys, DCVG surveys, and PLC fault finding
* Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and facilities
* Perform general electrical work

Requirements
* Certificate III in process plant operations or CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester (Desirable)
* Trade certificate - Cert III in Electro Technology (Mandatory)
* Experience in the gas industry, specifically in electrical, instrumentation, PLC, meter validations, and EEHA (Highly regarded)
* Experience in pipeline inspection and maintenance (Highly regarded)
* A safety-first approach
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop diverse skills
* Good communication skills, both written and oral
* Computer literacy
* Experience communicating with landowners and occupiers
