What You’ll Be Doing
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work directly with clients in their homes, following individual care plans to provide meaningful support:
- Assisting with daily living and personal care, including administering medication, domestic assistance, and safe manual handling.
- Supporting clients with transportation and community access.
- Observing and reporting on changes in clients’ conditions or behaviour.
- Ensuring care is delivered according to client preferences and needs.
About You
We’re looking for people who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a difference:
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing (or equivalent), or working towards it.
- Experience supporting clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations.
- Own a vehicle and hold a Queensland Provisional Green or higher driver’s licence with comprehensive insurance and service history.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Ability to obtain a positive notice through the legislatively required personal history check
