**About the Role**
We currently have a full-time civilian Driver and Logistics Support position available at the ACT Health Centre. The Driver and Logistics Support is responsible for the following tasks:
- Transportation and distribution of medical, pharmaceutical and general stores within and between JHU health facilities
- Provision of Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) to Defence members in accordance with Defence policy
- Ordering and receipting of medical, dental and general stores using the Defence statutory inventory management systems
- Pick, pack, issue and dispatch medical, dental and general stores to satisfy orders from dependencies
- Replenish first aid kits under the direction and supervision of the Pharmacist
- Process and return stores and equipment that is surplus to requirement
- Assist in managing the maintenance, repair and calibration and recording of all medical and dental equipment in accordance with standard Defence business processes
- Coordinate hire and loan of equipment in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures
**About the ACT Health Centre**
The ACT Health Centre is brand new facility - having opened in mid-2021 - and is an amalgamation of the Duntroon and Russell health centres. Approximately 7000 military personnel attend the Health Centre, including trainee officers from both the ADFA and Royal Military College. The Health Centre offers inpatient and outpatient services, as well as dentistry, physiotherapy, and pharmacy. Standard operating hours are 0700-1900 Monday-Friday, with a ward that operates 24/7.
**About You**
- The successful applicant will have:_
- Minimum 2 years full-time experience (or part time equivalent) in either Stores, Logistics and / or Transport role.
- Hold a current and valid open drivers' licence.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) certification.
