Business Development Manager — Lane Property

Lane Property is a growing short‐term rental management company operating across South East Queensland. We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to own our inbound sales pipeline, converting website enquiries into signed management agreements and building lasting relationships with referral partners.
This is a warm‐lead role. Our marketing delivers a steady stream of property owners exploring short‐term rental management. Your job is to guide them from enquiry to onboarding, backed by real performance data and a team that delivers results.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Respond to and convert inbound leads from the Lane Property website, landing pages, and digital campaigns
* Conduct property appraisals and present tailored proposals demonstrating projected rental income and management value
* Build and maintain a network of referral partners including real estate agents, buyer's agents, mortgage brokers, and property advisors
* Meet with prospective landlords in person and via video to understand their goals and position Lane Property as the right fit
* Manage and nurture your sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow‐up and accurate forecasting
* Work closely with operations to ensure seamless handover from signed agreement to property onboarding
ABOUT YOU
* Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally in property management, real estate, or short‐term rentals
* Confident communicator who builds trust quickly on the phone, in person, and over email
* Naturally relationship‐driven with the ability to cultivate referral partnerships over time
* Self‐motivated with strong organisational skills and discipline to manage your own pipeline
* Comfortable working with data and presenting performance reports and revenue projections
* Knowledge of the South East Queensland property market is a strong advantage
* Current Queensland driver's licence and willingness to travel across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast
