Join our professional and highly regarded sales team as the Associate Account Manager. This hands‑on role combines learning and responsibility and offers the chance to grow into a confident Account Manager in the underground mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Manage a defined group of developing accounts including contractors, workshops and mid‑tier operators.
Conduct independent client meetings, site visits and follow‑ups.
Build ongoing relationships with stakeholders in supply chain, maintenance and asset management.
Prepare account plans, visit reports and performance summaries with support from the Category Lead.
Business Growth & Strategy
Conduct basic market research to identify potential opportunities.
Assist in updating sales materials, client profiles and relevant documentation.
Support the team during conferences, expos and client events.
Client Engagement & Travel
Conduct independent site visits as required, representing Maspro professionally and confidently.
Gather product performance data, operational feedback and identify opportunities for improvement or upsell.
Help resolve client queries and appropriately escalates issues.
Commercial Responsibilities
Achieve allocated revenue and margin targets for assigned accounts.
Identify and pursue upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM records.
Service Delivery
Provide timely responses to client enquiries and internal requests.
Monitor order status and support communication between clients and internal teams.
Support the Category Lead with preparation of account reviews and reporting.
Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, warehouse and finance teams to meet client needs.
Provide feedback from clients and site visits to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in sales and/or providing service excellence within mining, manufacturing or engineering sector (preferred).
- A listener first, with a client focused mindset.
- Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively.
- Desire to develop and grow into an Account Manager.
- Willingness to travel and gain site exposure.
- Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Basic understanding or interest in mining operations.
