We seek experienced Senior Modelling and Simulation Engineers to support the entire product lifecycle of these next-generation autonomous vehicles.What You'll DoLead the development of advanced modeling and simulation architecture for rapid capability delivery.Serve as the SME for engineering-level simulation of platforms, including environmental interactions and system models.Simulate guidance, navigation, control algorithms, and vehicle management systems.Collaborate with external vendors and clients to integrate models into our simulation architecture.Create models and test fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing.Contribute to software system and subsystem design and development.Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment activities.Mentor junior engineers and work within a multidisciplinary team.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.Significant experience with platform physics-based modeling and simulation.Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.Strong systems and application programming skills, including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.Ability to manage software lifecycle from design to sustainment.Experience as a technical owner for software services, stakeholder engagement, and requirements management.Ability to mentor team members and work effectively in a team environment.Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.Preferred QualificationsLeadership experience in simulation and delivery of robotic systems, especially in aerospace, maritime, or space domains.Knowledge of flight dynamics, platform physics, and control systems.Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC, MIL-STD-1553, UART, Ethernet, etc.Experience across the product lifecycle, including manufacturing and deployment.Understanding of System Engineering concepts.Interest in growth into senior or managerial roles.Anduril is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
