We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is perfect for fresh graduates eager to gain experience in financial management and accounting practices. You will be responsible for assisting in daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and supporting compliance with AU accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and balance sheets.
- Handle accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and issue invoices.
- Assist with payroll administration and tax calculations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
