We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources expert to spearhead our people and compliance initiatives. This part-time role at 0.6 FTE has the potential to grow into a full-time position, ensuring our diverse community of over 1000 students thrives.
About the Role
This unique opportunity showcases your generalist human resources skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for leading our human resources processes, including:
* Managing all tasks from recruitment to offboarding, providing quality induction processes
* Offering assistance and guidance with probation processes, performance development, and people management
* Working with our facilities team to provide proactive injury management support, including Workers Compensation claims
* Overseeing and improving administrative systems that support workplace relations tasks within the organization
We require someone who has:
* A Human Resource qualification and/or proven skills in similar roles, preferably in an educational setting
* Working knowledge of injury management and people management practices and systems in a multi-occupational workforce
* Sound understanding and application of generalist human resource best practices
* Strong digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry, and document processing capabilities
* Championing of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service delivery
* An ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
* Active Christian Faith
* A current Working with Children Check
