Overview
An exciting opportunity exists to join our Network Development team as a Paralegal.
Reporting to the General Manager Network Development, this role supports our franchised network of over 200 dealers across Australia by managing all documentation relating to our legal franchise agreements.
Main Responsibilities
Manage dealer applications and agreements.
Dealer liaison, drafting and reviewing documentation and managing dealer communication.
Manage document templates and data files.
Liaison with external Legal Counsel on current matters.
Conduct searches and utilise company, business name and trust information in drafting legal documents.
Respond to enquiries of moderate complexity from internal and external stakeholders.
Manage dealer market coverage paperwork and update postcode data in the database.
What we are looking for
Extensive legal experience (essential), 5 years plus as a Senior Legal Secretary or Paralegal.
Contracts administration experience, including templates.
Exposure to Contract Law and Franchising law (desirable).
Exposure to the automotive industry is desired but not essential.
Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
