The Opportunity

As our National Key Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind client loyalty across the RACV Conferences & Events portfolio. This isn't just about managing a list; it's about strategic partnership. You will lead the charge in maximising account value, securing repeat business, and ensuring RACV remains the preferred partner for Australia's leading corporate and government entities.
What You'll Do
Own the Portfolio: Strategically manage a premium book of corporate, government, and agency accounts, becoming their primary point of contact for the RACV Group:
* Drive Retention: Lead the post-event rebooking process with a commercial mindset, ensuring our clients never feel the need to look elsewhere.
* Grow the Footprint: Identify "white space" within existing accounts to drive cross-property bookings and program expansions.
* Elevate the Experience: Deliver our VIP engagement program, ensuring every touchpoint adds genuine value and reinforces our premium market position.
What You'll Bring (The Must-Haves)
This is a specialised role requiring a deep understanding of the hospitality landscape. To be successful, you must demonstrate:
Proven Hotel/Resort Sales Expertise: Experience specifically within hotel, hospitality, or conference & events sales. You understand the nuances of room blocks, banquet spend, and property-level operations.
Account Management: A track record of managing high-value portfolios where your relationship-building skills directly resulted in revenue retention and growth.
Commercial Sharpness: You aren't just a "people person"; you are a business driver who understands market dynamics, contract terms, and the art of the upsell.
Strategic Communication: The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from executive assistants to C-suite decision-makers.
