Our client is a large Facilities Management /Property Maintenance Company who carry out a range of property upgrades, maintenance and repairs on mostly occupied properties all over Australia. (E.g. Schools /Hospitals /Nursing Homes/ Shopping Centres etc.)
They have recently secured another project from a repeat customer.
It's a $7m part refurb / part new build to an existing occupied aged care complex in Coonabarabran NSW
Work on site will commence on 7th April 2026 and project duration is 26 weeks approximately.
As a result, we are now looking for a Leading hand carpenter /Working Foreman (M/F) / Site Supervisor who has successfully undertaken projects such as the above within Time, Cost and Quality.
Other essential requirements are:
1. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
2. Must be willing to live away from home (if necessary) between Monday to Friday inclusive – Accommodation + LAFHA will be paid for by the client.
3. Current first Aid certificate.
4. Clean current Police record.
5. Own transport and tools
6. Trade Qualifications – preferably carpentry or full builder's licence.
7. Checkable References
8. Outstanding Oral and written communication skills as you will be required to keep written records on site and verbally communicate with Nursing Home Managers and visiting Project Managers.
9. An outstanding safety record.
10. An accommodating persona as you will be working in a live /sensitive environment.
11. Experience with Hammertech and Procore would also be desirable.
Rates will be negotiated with successful applicant.
