A well-established, family-owned truck dealership is expanding and seeking a highly organised, hands-on, and people-focused Workshop Team Leader to join our team in the Toowoomba region.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and outstanding customer satisfaction. You’ll serve as the key link between our skilled technicians, management, and valued customers — ensuring all jobs run smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the frontline team to maximise customer uptime
- Oversee and coordinate daily workflow for maximum efficiency
- Ensure vehicles and related paperwork progress seamlessly through the service process
- Drive productivity while maintaining high quality standards
- Provide technical guidance where needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and suppliers
What We're Looking For
- Heavy Vehicle trade qualification (essential)
- COI and A/C licence (preferred)
- Proven mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of heavy vehicle mechanical experience
- Current Australian manual driver’s licence
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence or higher
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Confident leadership and effective delegation abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-first mindset and commitment to excellence
