About the Vineyard: The spectacular 118 ha Banksdale Vineyard site growing predominantly the Prosecco variety is located in the King Valley, Northeast Victoria, and situated at an elevation of 450 metres. It's located approximately 35km south of Wangaratta and 40km east of Benalla. We constantly strive for continued improvement in quality, value and the long-term health of the vineyard.
About the Role: Major responsibilities of this position will be to undertake a variety of vineyard duties in accordance with seasonal requirements in order to assist in the development and maintenance of the vineyard. Duties include tractor operation, vineyard spraying, pruning, harvesting operations and maintenance of irrigation and trellis systems.
About the person: We are looking for an experienced machinery operator, who is capable of operating an over row braud sprayer/harvester. Ideally you will have experience in viticulture or other related areas such as agriculture or horticulture, although candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply. It is essential that you possess a good level of health and fitness and ready to tackle manual labour. A strong work ethic, and good attention to detail is also required.
