The role spans policy and ESG strategy, research, investment selection and monitoring, and active ownership—requiring strong technical expertise, analytical insight and hands on execution to advance the Fund's responsible investment objectives.
What You'll Do
* Policy and Strategy: Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Fund's responsible investment framework, policies and procedures. Ensure team awareness of policy updates. Undertake research to identify emerging ESG issues, regulatory changes and industry best practice, and provide recommendations to the Senior Manager.
* Research & Implementation: Conduct research on ESG themes, sector-level trends, controversies, standards and best practice to inform decision making. Prepare well structured ESG thematic papers, manager briefing notes, and Investment Committee inputs. Support monitoring of the investment portfolio for ESG risks and opportunities, including assessment of data platforms, external ratings and stewardship inputs.
* Selection, Monitoring and Reporting: Complete ESG due diligence on investment opportunities, including data gathering, scoring, documentation and preparation of reports. Support the ESG compliance review process and summarise findings for internal stakeholders. Prepare internal ESG dashboards, metrics and reporting, ensuring data integrity and alignment with governance requirements.

Assist with the monitoring of proxy voting outcomes and prepare summaries for the Senior Manager. Coordinate engagement actions with external managers and stewardship partners, tracking progress and outcomes.
* Cross-functional ESG initiatives: Provide analytical and coordination support for organisation wide ESG initiatives (e.g., AASB S2, climate strategy, modern slavery, biodiversity etc). Collaborate as needed with other teams to ensure ESG related workstreams are delivered on time and to required standards.
