Senior Campaign Executive Position
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day media liaison and project management within accounts. As the most media-focused role within the Client Servicing team, a Senior Campaign Executive will thrive on successfully pitching their clients' stories to the media.
Key responsibilities include assisting Campaign Managers and Directors with client management, offering thoughtful advice and recommendations to clients and teams regarding media strategy, tactics, and opportunities. The ideal candidate will maintain assigned relationships with clients, establish themselves and their organization as invaluable long-term partners for marketing and communications services, and manage communication with select clients to ensure deadlines and service agreements are met consistently.
A successful Senior Campaign Executive will also understand and follow the news agenda, positioning clients and products within the wider narrative, directly pitching engaging content to journalists, bloggers, and analysts, and reviewing and refining campaign programs at a tactical level to ensure ongoing relevance and adapt plans where necessary. Additionally, they will deploy rapid response to breaking news on behalf of clients, reacting quickly to emerging stories in line with client profiles, research, identify, and approach appropriate media contacts, and continually build a solid understanding of the media landscape across national, regional, industry-specific, and vertical channels.
The role also involves drafting a broad range of written materials, creating press materials and compelling content for traditional and digital media, and using social media platforms to expand their network, develop media relationships, and positively impact client results. They will work collaboratively with the digital team to increase the utilization of digital services, provide social media insight, and execute and manage related digital activity.
A Senior Campaign Executive will mentor and provide advice to graduates and Campaign Executives within direct and wider teams, ensure personal objectives are met on an ongoing basis, and accurately report activity levels and complete timesheets to ensure correct allocation of client duties. They will also support the training of graduates and interns, regularly attend TEAM LEWIS training sessions and daily press briefings to enhance skills and develop knowledge, and track and report on media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings, and online media engagement.
