Appian Lead Architect – Accenture Australia
Join us to apply for the Appian Lead Architect role at Accenture Australia. The client has a large technology transformation program where Appian is a key platform for process orchestration, spanning multiple business units and functional areas.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and business processes.
* Work with enterprise architects to develop the solution architecture.
* Collaborate with internal and external system owners/architects to design integration patterns for Appian with existing systems and databases.
* Provide technical guidance and support to Appian developers.
* Assess Appian performance and resolve issues.
* Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions.
* Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality solutions that meet client needs.
Requirements
* 5+ years of proven experience designing and implementing Appian solutions, with a strong understanding of Appian architecture.
* Deep knowledge of Appian components including process design, SAIL, rules, security, and integration.
* Strong database knowledge to design data models and identify performance issues (e.g., tables, stored procedures).
* Good understanding of Appian installation & maintenance for on‑premises and client‑managed cloud.
* Design, develop, and implement Appian applications adhering to best practices and industry standards.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
* Knowledge of Appian plug‑in development using Java.
* Appian certification is a must.
